Internet Updating
Internet Updating is an automated one-click method for getting
the latest WinFlex system and carrier updates via the Internet.
As a User
- Enables you to have the most up-to-date rates, state approvals, etc. for products you illustrate
- Reduces time spent dealing with CD or diskette installations
- The "Set and Forget" feature allows you to set
how often you want to check for updates
As a Carrier
- Lowers distribution costs by reducing the number of CD or diskettes sent to the field
- Provides immediate updates to the field
- Minimizes tech support for installations
Step 1: Connect to the Internet
Step 2: Minimize the Internet screen but keep the connection
running
Step 3: Open WinFlex
Step 4: Click on the Options menu
Step 5: Choose "Check for Internet Updates"
WinFlex will check for Internet Updates available for the
installed companies and display a list of those carriers.
The user may then select the companies to update and click
the Download button. The updates will then automatically be
downloaded and installed.
Hint: Use the “Set and Forget” option in WinFlex
under Options | Settings to set how often WinFlex checks for
Internet Updates!
